Unfortunately, I’m just learning about this band. Goddamn, this album comes across as one long hook. Catchy and infectious with witty, tenderly crass lyrics. It picks you up and pulls you down in a way that only masterfully crafted albums can. Often times power pop’s “easy come, easy go” attitude can be its greatest attribute and its worst detriment, but with songs like these, this record isn’t going anywhere soon.
