CULTURE SHOCK: Forever + Ever (+ Ever): 7”

Well it looks like Canadian archivist label Supreme Echo is back with some more maple leaf rarities that are seeing the light and sounding great. This time around, we get Vancouver’s Culture Shock. Forming in 1980, these barely out of high school kids blasted out some damn fine Buzzcocks worship, and within a couple of years they were gone. Before they disappeared into the mists of time, they released one six-song 7”. There was three hundred pressed, two hundred of which wound up in a landfill somewhere. It remains one of the rarest Canadian punk singles out there. The re-release has been given the full Supreme Echo treatment including a beautiful remastering and six-page booklet with photos, flyers, and the band members telling their story.
