Yes. Yes! Yes! Powerful, anthemic punk a la Red Dons or Neon Piss. Surprising and memorable in a way that many records fail to be. I have a lot of good will to extend to this record; it scratches an itch I haven’t felt in a while. I haven’t been so immediately drawn to a band’s sound in a while. The shouty vocal lines are produced with just the right production to make them feel more like an instrument than the spotlight role. It’s probably the slight tinge of ‘80s post-punk production that does it, allowing the vocals to fill out the sound rather than hog the attention. Really recommended.
