Cleveland’s 9 Shocks Terror played with Sweden’s DS-13 at the 818 Space—a DIY collective infoshop and short-lived show space in Richmond, Va. It was one of those small storefront spaces that had a lot of amazing shows in a short period of time before it shut down.
This show was nuts: frantic, high-strung, blasting, guitar-shredding chaos. Fists and feet in the air. Barking vocals from a rubber band of long limbs. Unmitigated chaos. I got some pics and cleared myself to the back of the room. It was a whirlwind.
