Doom-esque metal! Add a little bit of black metal in the guitar tone and in the vocals, but not too much. One song that trudges forward with somber breaks here and there, but for the most part this is just one long, thundering pummeling in slow motion. That’s not a bad thing to me, as I love slow, heavy, and dark metal. Discogs lists these guys as hardcore, but I’m not hearing any of that on this record. Just slow and loud. Play faster? No, play slower. Only one song, and I could really go for a full on LP from this band at full volume to help strip away the filth of the past year. –Matt Average (Dropping Bombs, droppingbombs.bigcartel.com)
