A quasi-repress of this obscure band’s debut 7” EP, The House on Chester Road, recorded in 1977 and originally released in 1980. The former title track has been relegated to the third slot, replaced by the song that gives this version its title, and replaces the song “Preacher” with a previously-never-on-vinyl jam “Time to Go” in its place. “Who Is My Killer” is an epic tune—part glam, part metal, and part punk—with a Latin-tinged breakdown smack dab in the middle. “Time to Go” has a bit more boogie in its britches and “Chester” comes off as a glam-take on mid-period Pretty Things. As with most of HoZac’s archival releases, the sound’s good and the tunes are worthy of note. –Jimmy Alvarado (HoZac, hozacrecords.com)
