Dunno the connection between this Texas band’s tweaked name and the cartoon-within-a-cartoon character reference to Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids (there may be none), but ye get three tunes here, one with lyrics and the other two largely instrumentals. The opener, “Diarrhea Brains” recalls The Cravats on a trad-rock bender, the other two are much more experimental and long in the tooth—the closer clocks in at nine-and-a half minutes—mixing in funkier rock with noisier and grungier elements. –Jimmy Alvarado (Resipiscent)
