Holy crap! Philadelphia, Pa.’s The Brood again deliver the goods on this seven-song cassette. If you were fortunate enough to snag a copy of 2014’s Defective 7”, you won’t be disappointed with this. For those not as lucky, this baby is chock-full of Japanese and Scandinavian d-beat-influenced ragers that had my lips snarled and fist pumping in no time. If I had to draw comparisons, I’d probably mention World Burns To Death or maybe F-Minus. This release is pretty limited and the band doesn’t seem to be doing any coast-to coast tours any time soon, so I recommend you contact the band directly to get your paws on this puppy. –Garrett Barnwell (Self-released, filthybrood.blogspot.com)
