This Brett Vee dude really knows how to craft a catchy tune. With all tracks recorded and written by the man himself, Real Soon is a lo-fi DIY masterpiece. Living in Las Vegas, Vee may have picked up a few tricks from Copperfield; each of the EP’s five songs is deceptively simple. Take a closer listen, though, and you’ll catch some musical sleight-of-hand with intelligent songwriting that takes unexpected turns.
