This song came on a single flexi disc with a note that it was from the recent film They / Them / Us which was filmed in Columbus, Ohio. And man, I want to see this movie now! I love the idea of this super-droning, intense experimental hardcore being showcased in a family dramedy. The song ends with a chant of “the people united, will never be defeated” and I think that tells you a lot of what you want to know. It’s engaged, driving, and catchy with an urgency that makes it clear it’s about something big. I can’t wait to see the film to find out what that thing is. –Theresa W. (So This Is Progress?)
