If the ’60s album cover doesn’t attract you to this record I don’t know what will. This album hasn’t left my turntable all week. With a dirty, tin can-kicking, twangy guitar sound, this record is great company for bumming around the house. Sonically, it takes you to old saloons, and the rockabilly stomp and creepy vocals are so authentic you’d think it was recorded before you were born. If you’re a fan of early surf rock, Link Wray, Holly Golightly, Sun Records, or Voodoo Rhythm Records then you probably already own this record and are thinking, “Duh” as you read this. –Ryan Nichols (Goner, [email protected])
