A solo project turned full band affair from a man who’s apparently an actual (punk) rocket scientist. This is his second full-length. Like Chubby And The Gang, there are some stompers, but there are also some ballads. And like Chubby, the singing ain’t always on key, sometimes distractingly so, but the passion and energy really show through, rendering any deficiencies quite forgivable. Bootboys who are into the (frankly, baffling) current trend of garnishing their Blitz with some Cure (like Home Front) will dig the diversity of sound on this slab because yes, there are keyboards (thankfully though, these are real drums, not horrible synths). All in all, this is definitely worth a listen. –Chad Williams (Dirt Cult, dirtcultrecords.com)
