Is it wrong to review a record again because it is on a label in North America now? If it’s as good as Seattle’s Bad Future’s latest LP, I think it’s the right thing to do. We often throw terms like “heavy” and “melodic” around to the point that they lose their meaning, but this record is a quick reminder. It is relentless from the first note—a swirling, pulsing thing of amazement, that works my eardrums over in the best way possible. You can easily track the band’s growth through all of their releases thus far. All are amazing in their own right, but you can definitely hear the evolution with each record. I can’t wait for the next one! – Ty Stranglehold (Dirt Cult)
