I feel like I’ve been swamped with melodic punk bands to review this rotation but so far I’ve been lucky with each one ensuring that it’s had a favorable impact on me. The question is, will Avenues keep up that streak or will it be the one that tips the scales the other way? To avoid any needless suspense, I’ll come out and say this is a cracking melodic punk album. For five days in a row I’ve woken up with one of the tracks spinning around my head and each time I’ve headed straight to listen to it, not once feeling I’ve overindulged on it.
