WEEKEND DADS: Self-titled: 7”

This band writes songs that are meant to be screamed along with by four dozen of your closest and/or drunkest friends at a Fest near you! Lyrics that are caught somewhere between nostalgia, depression, and nostalgia for depression, like, “On an old bridge/On a rainy night/Pick myself up/It’s gonna end right.” Also, a classic Fest-esque line, “The time is for drinking when you know that there’s nothing worth fighting for!” Nothing new here, but who cares? Solid stuff!
