Waxeater is methodical, mathy post-rock with spazzed-out vocals. Being from Louisville, Kentucky where this stuff pretty much originated, I’m totally burnt out on this kind of stuff. It’s good for what it is, though. Jabberjosh is the better side. As a two-piece, they make a hell of a lot of noise with lots of shrieking and bashed-to-hell drums. It’s sort of post hardcore with lots of time changes and trickery. Not bad.
