This French band offers a batch of hippy-influenced poppy garage rock songs with psyche influences that comes off not unlike a French version of Ty Segall. Actually, you’d never really know this band was from France at all since all of the songs are sung in English with no noticeable accents. Much like a good portion of the contemporary garage of the last few years, this record lacks a certain something and never really grabs my attention. It definitely has come cool fuzzed-out moments, and it’s certainly not bad, but I keep on waiting and hoping that it would knock me off my feet. Unfortunately, I’m still waiting.
