I’m usually a little late to the party, so I am quite happy to report that this nifty little sampler just turned me onto four of my new favorite bands. The disc is stuffed with a nice cross selection of the label’s output including the Soviettes, Awesome Snakes, and Fuck Knights. But far and away, the tracks by Droids Attack, the Gusto, Drunk Drivers, and the Giraffes blew me away the most. This sampler single-handedly sent me scurrying to Amoeba over the weekend looking for the above-mentioned bands material.
