Turning the Tide is Anti-Racist Action’s anti-racist, anti-fascist, and anti-colonial newspaper. It includes articles tying police brutality to the lack of jobs for black people, information on grassroots candidates, counter-revolutionary military initiatives, and more. TTT provides a voice to the people and a strong counterpoint to sanitized mainstream news and editorials, though I think its impact would be even stronger if it (or this issue, at least) didn’t feel so male-focused. –Chris Terry (Anti-Racist Action Publishers, PO Box 1055, Culver City, CA90232-1055)
