I noticed at the local record store that this band was getting popular. I started seeing more kids wearing the patches and purchasing their media. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to review this because of the generation gap between me and the kids who listen to them. I said fuck it and pulled it off the shelf of music that needed to be reviewed. This is a two track EP that was pressed on purple vinyl. I thought they could have fit more songs on this. What pissed me off more was the lack of an insert or lyric sheet. I guess the money was spent on the nice glossy cover. The first track, titled "Cockroach," reminded me of current day Conflict with its mix of reggae and thrash. The flipside track titled "War Song 2K" was more in the vein of a crusty metal track that is a mixture of the Amebix meets Discharge. Good production that increases the power of the songs. It’s way better than what I thought it would be.
