Post punk with a goth edge, similar to early Siouxsie And The Banshees. The music is dark with a tribal beat and an ominous sounding bass guitar. “A Minor Heartbreak” is my favorite of the three on here. It’s a bit more driving and the washes of noise only add to the subterranean atmosphere. I also really like how the bass sounds during the main verses. Sounds like there’s a guitar in there as well, though it’s used sparingly. This is some really, really good stuff and has certainly helped shake me out of a negative stupor towards the present state of music. These guys would fit perfectly on a bill with Magick Daggers and the Secret Society Of The Sonic Six. Someone get on that, and make it happen here in Los Angeles, please.
