SUNDOWNERS: Gnome & Glacier: LP

Jan 14, 2010

Surprisingly, this is the first time this band found its way onto my turntable. That’s too bad, ‘cause this is right up my alley. Scrappy, DIY pop punk that’s obviously unorthodox, but in ways that aren’t instantly obvious. Oddball, but still very familiar. Like Tulsa with a little more meat on the bones, or Off With Their Heads with less of a bone to pick. Sundowners put the spring in Springfield and will fulfill your need for a solid, well-rounded album. On 45 and the grooves go all the way in!
