This seems like a two band split, except that the two bands are both the same band. The first nine tracks are straight-ahead street punk, with not more than one melody between them. The words change from tune to tune, but not much else. On the final four tracks, they add a trumpet and a trombone, and become a fairly interesting ska band. My hope is that ska is the direction they are going in, because they really don’t cut it as a street punk band. My only other problem with this release is that there are three, count ‘em, three instrumentals. There’s just no reason for that on a punk record.
