STREET EATERS / WHITE NIGHT: Split: 7”

Jun 08, 2009

What a match up! These bands sound nothing like each other. Street Eaters play arty, minimal punk with a bass that’s soaked in distortion, drums, and John and Megan’s amazing voices. White Night’s songs seem a little snottier than what was on their Burger Records’ tape, but these songs still fly the pop punk flag from atop a pile of dethroned royalty’s mangled dreams. I put this split up there with last year’s Canadian Rifle/American Cheeseburger split: awesome bands working on the same DIY wavelength can never go wrong together. It doesn’t matter how different they sound.
