A ton of potential here, what with their tried and true Misfits / SoCal whoa-oh-oh melodic approach. But it feels to me like this is a young band who, over the course of the two EPs on this tape, are spending more time working on their individual parts than listening to each other: there’s often so much going on that the songs don’t have much space to breathe. The last song here, “Angel of Summer,” is the best and most spacious. It’s also the one which sounds the most unrepentantly like ol’ Glenn and co.
