I like how the matchbook style packaging looks, even if it leaves lint all over the CD and is kind of a pain to use. As for the music on that CD, it’s just flaccid for the most part. It’s mostly upbeat indie rock (verging on old school emo/post-hardcore at times), but it lacks either the serious hooks or the kind of experimentalism that makes one really sit up and take notice. The song “Useless Point,” though, is pretty great and sounds like something Weezer would have come up with when they still wrote good songs.
