Grindcore. Brutal. Short. Members of Asshole Parade and Assassinate The Scientist. (Wow, really? When I think of that band, grindcore does not readily come to mind. Like, at all.) We’ve got nine or ten songs of wire-tight “powerviolence” in which a frantic, besotted chipmunk handles vocal duties. Lyrics made up of one or two sentences. “Fuck The Kids” goes, “Globalized market force, transnational holocaust, starving youth, slave driving murders.” Song lasts about as long as it took to read that line.
