Poppy punk / power pop type stuff. Think of a really polished Buzzcocks or Undertones crossed with the Hives, but really sugary and so cleaned up they have no edge at all. The songs are catchy, but, at the same time, they’re so light they won’t stick in your mind or have you wanting to listen to this again. They don’t challenge the preconceived notions of the genre. Instead, they play it safe and cling tightly to the formula. It’s just too sterile.
