I’ve listened and listened to this, hoping to make some sort of connection to the music, but nothing is happening. Maybe it’s the “too precious” aspect, like the song “Sugar Factory” that I find off putting. They do what they do well, which is indie pop rock that sort of reminds me of Cause Commotion, only more influenced by the Junosoundtrack instead of the Kinks. It’s just not “my thing.” All a matter of taste.
