One of the progenitors of gothic country, Denver’s SCAC continues their decade-and-a-half onslaught of frenzied, otherworldly tones. Well-written and well-composed, their modern mix and production of various old-time musical styles is a little more subdued, yet more refined, than some of their more raw contemporaries. Unentitled has a restrained, matured calm about it; fans of SCAC won’t be disappointed with this addition to the band’s long-running catalog.
