The “art” and dark brood are still very evident in the four tunes here, but the tracks here have a bit more of, oh, a groove imbedded into ‘em. According to a piece of paper included on the release, this is a reissue of their first self-released EP, which I guess would mean the stuff here is closer to the base from which they expanded on subsequent releases. It also says they’ve called it quits, which is a fuggin’ drag, ‘cause they were one of few who are really trying to push a bit at the boundaries and coming up with interesting results. Gonna miss ‘em.
