SENIOR FELLOWS: Shallow Grave for a Dying God: LP

Mar 22, 2016

The sludge subgenre of metal can be a cruel mistress. Every now and then along comes a band who ups the ante and shatters expectations. Notable crushers include 16, Kylesa, Lair Of The Minotaur, and Brainoil. Senior Fellows from Tulsa appear to have all the working parts in order yet fall short of being spectacular, which is a shame because they’re neither awful nor boring.
