SECRET TOMBS: Secret Tunes: LP

Another example of a Pittsburgh-area band doing its own thing, Secret Tombs play complicated, technically adept hits, roughly in the vein of Mission Of Burma. This is the type of release that makes record reviewers cringe at the challenge of quick descriptors, which is precisely the reason Secret Tombs is so interesting. Capturing well what they do so stunningly live, this record isn’t going be kept secret for very long, as those into complex post-punk-ish styles will gravitate to it quickly.
