The beats are good, and the man certainly has some rhyming skills and a smooth flow, but I kept thinkin’ “Eminem’s whiny little brother” when I listened to him ask God not to take any more of his friends, and a couple more songs elicited the same response. In short, this is quasi-socially conscious hip-hop that misses the mark a little too often.
