Incredible debut from this London foursome. If you like The Buzzcocks, The Jam, or any outfit where melody and a full head of steam are all you need, this is your new band. “Hometown Blues,” “She’s Got Standards,” and “Peace And Quiet” simply churn with energy. Produced by Ian Broudie (Icicle Works, Echo & The Bunnymen) no less! Let’s hope record number two generates some U.S. buzz since I’m like to hear this album in a small, smelly club.
