One of hardcore punk’s longest running acts, Raw Power from Italy continue to bang out fast and melodic songs in the same vein as Screams from the Gutter. Although, they have since updated their recording methods and opted for a slicker, cleaned-up sound, bringing to mind bands like Paint It Black. Ultimately, the record left me a tad bit unfulfilled and the inclusion of an embarrassing hidden acoustic song at the end of the record only further spoiled the mood. Bummer. I expected a lot more from a classic band.
