I initially thought these kids were shootin’ for inclusion in the Eyehategod wing of post-Black Flag/post-Black Sabbath sludge rock, but after the second song or so it became clearer they were more interested in being a part of the post-Slayer modern “hardcore” crowd. All told, they’re better than some, but nothing that really blows the skirt up.
