It seems like lots of older bands are getting back together these days. Some of them do a show or two and others start playing more regularly. I go back and forth with how I feel about this as some of these bands—while it’s still fun to see them—they just don’t have the energy they once did. This is not the case with The Bollweevils! When the Mayor of Punk Rock, Doctor Daryl Wilson gets on stage, you wouldn’t think this is a band that’s been playing since the late ‘80s. The Bollweevils are bringing Chicago punk out to Southern California this March. Go see them if you can!
