This is a twenty-track collection of singles, comp tracks, and covers from a band that believes music should be fun! In attempting to ensure that that is the case, Means Jeans has used the Ramones for much of its musical inspiration. However, it’s far from being a total rehash and the album follows the band over a plethora of releases from its inception as a duo to its current format as a trio, wisely applying that influence throughout. There’s no rocket science behind this, nor would I call it essential, but it does make for an enjoyable listen.
