To me they sound like the early ‘00s, vaguely emo, slick-sounding Alkaline Trio, if they actually were on Fat Wreck. The cover of “Eleanor Rigby” being the second track kind of threw me. I don’t tend to listen to this stuff much these days, but if I was a teenager, I’d be super into it.
