I remember hearing tracks from this band in the past and thinking they were on the respectable side of dancier garage music. Very little of that shows through on this record. Heavily distorted guitars, snare echo, and an unchanging, mid-tempo pacing add a ‘90s feel to the product. None of the songs really stand out. I don’t feel bands have a responsibility to stick to a particular sound, but I don’t like this as much.
