It is true. The Go-Go’s were punk before becoming pop stars. This young punkette at a Nervous Gender show at Club 88 in 1978 did not want her photograph taken, so she quickly covered her face with a flyer announcing an upcoming Go-Go’s show at the Hong Kong Cafe in Chinatown, Los Angeles. I'm not sure it was her, but the punkette could have been Margot Olavarria, the original bass player! –Louis Jacinto (http://onodream.com/home.html)
