Five songs of circle-pit-ready, four-chord hardcore punk. Nice in-your-face recording. I could see these folks fitting into the suburban D.C. scene of the mid-’90s or suburban L.A. in the early ‘80s. Honestly, while Knives rock, they aren’t terribly original, and could fit in anywhere. Sometimes, the best way to judge a demo is to ask yourself, “Would this make for a good 7”?” In this case, the answer is “Yes.” So bring it on, y’all.
