Jagged, thrashy hardcore. Reliant on the “play fast, tape young” school of song writing, Knife Or Death delivers competent if by-the-numbers material. Not enough substance to warrant a deeper look behind the veil. It feels as dense as a paper cup. As a debut release, this is nothing to shake a stick at, but there’s still a lot of room to grow for this band. Questioning whether I just listened to six songs or one is rarely a positive.
