Mr. Coleman dances a fine line between sloppy ‘70s punk and trashier ‘60s fare (and when I say “trashy,” I don’t mean stereotypical and Farfisa-saturated, but rather in the more primitive and less polished sense), sometimes sounding like an odd mix between the Velvet Underground and, oh, the Zeros’ more up-tempo efforts. All told, this is some pretty good stuff.
