From what I can gather, Leibowich appears to have played all the instruments himself. This is a little more laid back, front porch-sounding than his other project, the Zoltars. It has that “I’m staying in, drinking coffee, and listening to records all day” feel. The recording is really clean-sounding. It initially reminded me of Cass McCombs, but slightly more sparse. The percussion is really minimal and all the instruments complement the casualness of the lyrics and vocals.
