HYDEOUTS, THE: Self-titled: CD

Aug 12, 2006

There’s a definite Buzzcocks influence here. It’s not subtle, either. Whether that would be a turn on for you or not, these songs are really rockin’. Straight-forward, lo-fi garage punk reminiscent of The Reds and the FM Knives. These songs are catchy and filled with hooks that got my head bobbing all over the place. The 7” was way too short for my liking though. I must have already gotten up twenty times already to flip the record. This is a very strong release, definitely worth checking out.
