Grow: How to Take Your D.I.Y. Project and Passion to the Next Level and Quit You: By Eleanor C. Whitney, 125 pgs. By Steve Hart

Aug 16, 2013

I’ve lived my life almost exactly the opposite of this book, leaving a lot of unfinished ideas in a disorganized pile of clutter, burned out dreams, and broken relationships. Grow is a how-to book for people with ideas and no idea how to begin. If you’re like me and have bunch of ideas rotting like fruit at the base of an apple tree, this is a good place to start. Each chapter breaks down the project into manageable, focused sections that define the project, showing how to raise money, create an identity, build a business, and work within a DIY community. For some Razorcake readers, a lot of these principles may seem self-evident, but Grow is an excellent primer for the rest of us. –Steve Hart (Cantankerous Titles,
