This is the second release from the Scottish quartet and it pretty much carries on in the same vein as the debut 7”. There’s a punchy quality throughout with guitars blazing a melodic trail and drums whip-cracking away whilst monotone vocals bring a tough edge to the tracks. My first impression was that it sounded a bit like H2O due to the energetic and tuneful approach, and on further reflection, it’s a view that I firmly stick with. It’s a very good follow up and one that should bring the band some well-deserved plaudits.
