A bizarre mix of autobiographical comics and the violent misadventures of a ratty stuffed penguin and his cricket best friend. The autobiographical stuff is great, but the violent humor is a bit much, gross, and too bloody for a stuffed animal. Yes, I’m questioning the logic on unrealistically violent fiction. More so, I don’t see any overarching point for inflicting pain on these characters. No context exists for their pain to make sense. All in all, a tad too uneven. Grade: C. –Bryan Static
